Rachael Greene

We are pleased to announce that Rachael Greene has been promoted to Director of Communications for the Office of Undergraduate Education.   

Rachael Greene joined OUE as the Assistant Director of Communications in 2024. In this role, she launched the OUE Marketing & Communications Plan, grew the marketing and communications team, established an OUE video library with professionally produced video assets, and led communications efforts for Georgia Tech’s Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP). Under her leadership, website traffic increased 170% on the oue.gatech.edu site, and OUE’s social media channels gained 2,646 followers in 2024. 

As Director of Communications, she will continue to lead strategic marketing and communications efforts that amplify student success initiatives, highlight employee achievements, and support institutional priorities. With expertise in content strategy, digital marketing, and brand messaging, she will develop and execute communications initiatives that expand OUE’s reach and enhance the impact of its programs.

Before joining Georgia Tech, Rachael was a Digital Communications Specialist at McNaughton-McKay Electric Company, where she grew the corporate social media following by 575%, managed content creation, and developed analytics dashboards to optimize engagement. She also spearheaded an employee advocacy program that expanded the company’s digital reach from 14,000 to 1.4 million.

Rachael holds an MFA from Queens University of Charlotte and a BA from the University of North Georgia. She also holds a certification from Forrester in Accelerating B2B Marketing and completed the Leading Women@Tech program as a member of the 2024 cohort. In addition to her work in communications, she is a writer of creative nonfiction, with published work appearing in Columbia Journal, Another Chicago Magazine, The Masters Review, and more.
